NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

OF THE HEALTH, EDUCATIONAL AND HOUSING FACILITY BOARD

OF THE CITY OF MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE

TO BE HELD IN-PERSON

                                                                                                                                   

 

 

Be advised that in compliance with the Tennessee Open Meetings Law, public notice is hereby given to all residents of the City of Memphis, TN and all persons interested that an open in-person public meeting of The Health, Educational and Housing Facility Board of the City of Memphis, Tennessee (the “Board”) will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, commencing at the hour of 12:00 Noon (CDT), in its conference room located at 65 Union Avenue, Suite 1120, Memphis, Tennessee 38103.

 

WHILE ATTENDANCE AT THE MEETING WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, CERTAIN PRESENTERS AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC INTERESTED IN ATTENDING AND PARTICIPATING IN SAID MEETING WILL ALSO BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE VIA ZOOM VIRTUAL ACCESS, AS FOLLOWS:

2.     3rd PILOT Closing Extension for The Magnolia Memphis, LLC (d/b/a Hedgerow Apartments) THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THIS AGENDA BY REQUEST OF THE APPLICANT TO WITHDRAW THE APPLICATION;

3.     Status update for Millenia Housing (d/b/a Memphis Towers)

4.     1st Bond Inducement Resolution for The Memphian TN TC, LP (f/k/a Serenity Towers);

5.     1st PILOT Closing Extension for The Memphis TN TC, LP (f/k/a Serenity Towers);

6.     PILOT Transfer Application for Mazal in New Horizon, LLC (d/b/a New Horizon Apartments);

7.     PILOT Refinancing Application for Bent Tree, LLC (d/b/a Creekside Meadows);

8.     Such other business as may properly come before the Board.

Be advised that effective immediately the Board has re-instituted its requirement of mandatory in-person attendance for a member of the ownership and development group for all Bond and PILOT matters included as an Action Item to be considered by the Board at its monthly regular Board meetings. The regular meeting of the Board is typically held at Noon on the first Wednesday of each month at 65 Union Avenue, Suite 1120, Memphis, TN 38103. The Notice of Public Meeting is published on the Board’s website at: www.memphishehf.com and in The Daily News one week prior to each scheduled regular meeting. 

Also be advised effective immediately that any person that wishes to make a public comment at HEHF Board Meetings is required to attend the meeting in-person. In following the practice of City Council and Shelby County Commission, each person giving a public comment will be allotted a maximum of two (2) minutes to speak.
